Dead to Fall – Villainy and Virtue. Maturity is one of the best things that can happen to bands. The contrary is one of the worst, but when you find that band that just so happens to walk the path you find acceptable and gratifying it’s surprising and incredible. Where Everything I Touch Falls to Pieces left off, or forgot to do this album made up for it. Dead to Fall has become one of the best and innovative metalcore bands out there.

Chicago’s Dead to Fall pretty much floored me with their 2002 debut ‘Everything I Touch Falls to Pieces’. Certainly it was one of the finest melodic death/metalcore albums of that year. The great thing about DTF was their noteworthy ability to combine classic Northern Euro riffage/leads with death metal blasting and the obligatory Metalcore breakdowns. There is no real argument from me that V&V is not a stellar metalcore album. Most of their competition would sell their left nut for something this confronting. It is encumbered with everything that avid DTF fans would expect from this band.

Chicago metalcore outfit Dead to Fall initially came together in 1999, undergoing various lineup changes throughout its existence. Players on their first album consisted of Jonathan Hunt (vocals), Bryan Lear (guitar), Justin Jakimiak (bass), Sean Nichols (guitar), and Dan Craig (drums), and the band set the stage early for their brutal blend of heavy metal, hardcore, and Swedish metal tendencies

Pretty sure there are 300 copies of this edition. 150 were for their show in Iowa, and the other 150 are for their show in Chicago. Not too sure on how many copies were made of the orange vinyl. This edition is also called "Blood of the Moon" swirl.
