VINYL LP) Fellini 712. Kenny Clarke Clarke-Boland Big Band Format: Vinyl. Fellini 712. "Please retry". Drummer Kenny Clarke and guitarist Fanny Bolan made this album centering around Fellini's films in 1969. This is big band music with complex chord changes but is extremely melodic. It is not as dissonant or complicated, as say, Charles Mingus' orchestral work of the 1960s, but not as conservative as Duke Ellington. Highly enjoyable and even more highly recommended.
