Live in Cologne is a posthumous live album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Released on November 27, 2012, the album documents the band's performance at the Sporthalle in Cologne, Germany, on January 13, 1969. It is the twelfth entry in the Dagger Records catalogue of official bootlegs released by the Experience Hendrix company and was originally released in LP record format only; a CD version was issued in July 2013.

Experience is a live album by Jimi Hendrix, released in August 1971 in the United Kingdom. The album is an incomplete soundtrack to the unreleased film Experience documenting the Jimi Hendrix Experience's performance at the Royal Albert Hall on February 24, 1969. It peaked at number nine in the . album charts in September 1971. The follow-up to Experience, titled More Experience, was released in 1972. All tracks written by Jimi Hendrix, except where noted.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, Jimi Hendrix was of African American descent. Both his mother Lucille and father Al were African Americans and his paternal grandmother, Zenora Nora Rose Moore, was African American and one-quarter Cherokee. On June 10,1919, Hendrix and Moore had a son they named James Allen Ross Hendrix, in 1941, Al met Lucille Jeter at a dance in Seattle, they married on March 31,1942.

NotesThese are LIVE recordings and radio broadcasts from the 1967-68 era. Being upset that Cream disbanded in 1968, Jimi covers the Cream song "SUNSHINE OF YOUR LOVE" and dedicates it to Jack Bruce.
The deadwax matrix engraving is LE-1-HH and LE-2-HH, for Side 1 and Side 2 respectively. These numbers match to a Dittolino Discs pressing of this release, but this one does not have the familiar Dittolino drawn art labels. These are White labels with no writing or artwork.
