What Was Behind ‎(Cass, Album, Ltd, RE, Unofficial, C36). This is The Hated's 1986 demo pressed onto vinyl. The songs were apparently transferred at the wrong speed, but the vocals sound normal (compared to other Hated material) so I really wonder where that story came from.

This was originally released on vinyl as Vermin Scum Records (#12). The vinyl release was accidently mastered at a (slower) speed therefore disowned by the band members. Due to lack of a proper discography re-release, bootlegs have constantly been turning up over the years in various formats. Being a longtime fan, to me it sounds like this CDR is indeed the correct speed and (possibly) even remixed and remastered? SOUNDS EXCELLENT. Extra songs: Like The Days 7" (4 songs), No More We Cry 7" (4 songs), Two People Blue, Wherever You Go (Desmond Cast 7"), and I Am A Rock (Simon & Garfunkel cover).
