BK's Joey Bada$$ releases his debut album, featuring BJ The Chicago Kid, Action Bronson, Elle Varner and Raury. Three years ago, we were first introduced to Flatbush rapper Joey Bada$$ through his first mixtape, 1999. While some have touted the now 20-year-old as the chosen one, we knew at the time he would gain critical-acclaim alongside Pro-ERA on lyric content alone. Today, he celebrates the official major debut opus release of his B. $ (Before Da Money) album

Joey Bada$$ has been hard at work on his debut album, but we had yet to hear any details on the title or when it was to be released. The NY rapper has taken to twitter to break that silence and announce that his album will be titled B.

In other words, modern day. Which is perfect for Raury, who delivers one of the best verses on the whole album by rapping double-time with an electric flow and blazing through the gloomy backdrop with André 3000 flair. $, which speaks to his lack of adjustment in transitioning into a full-fledged artist who truly represents something other than ’ 90s nostalgia rap. Still, B.

  • Rocky Basilisk
My copy is not gate fold. No numbers but says 2nd addition.
  • Monn
JB is the true leader of the NYC New new school (two news on purpose there) imo. Too many NYC MC's were chasing the fame and money and didnt have anything remotely east coast about them in either flow or production. For a young kid he's made an amazingly focused album, the first in a long time that just screams "New York" proudly. Album of the year so far for me. Hopefully he's got more in him.
  • Snake Rocking
Mine has not been hand numbered as it said it was. Also it didn't include a download card despite the sticker on the front saying it was inside. What's the point of doing a supposed 1000 limited release and having some vinyls unmarked and some which say x/1000? There could be 10000 Out there for all we know. I'm a big fan Pro Era but they really fucked this up. Massively disappointed.
  • The_NiGGa
At first, I also thought that mine was missing the download card, but it was hidden/stuck in one side of the cover. Did you check thoroughly?
  • Purebinder
I got 774 or 771 kinda hard to read and i got my download card.
  • Natety
Thats mine: https://s3.amazonaws.com/pushbullet-uploads/ujAgheLuduS-EvDtMgaWl2txqCsQslUvwUerp32Saf59/IMG_20150223_202615.jpg handnumbered 305/1000 it's on the back upper right side
  • energy breath
It was stated that only the first 1000 copies would be hand-numbered. No information has ever been given concerning the amount of copies pressed.
  • Uickabrod
It's my understanding that there are 1000 numbered ones, but more than 1000 LPs were pressed. Mine isn't numbered either.
  • Winail
"Hand-written, numbered vinyl of ‪#‎B4DAMONEY‬ are in select stores all over the world. Fans who purchase vinyl with the #4, #7, #47, and #120 win special prizes. If your vinyl has one of these numbers take a photo of the back cover, where we can clearly see the number and upload it to Instagram tagging @jozifbadmon, @proera47 & @cinematicmusicgroup. Include the hashtag ‪#‎b4damoneyvinyl‬. We’ll then contact you with prize details."
  • Cerekelv
Your sound like you're from the label. Can you tell me why mine (and my housemates, and my sisters) have no number or download card? Massively unethical...
  • fire dancer
nothing like that on my copy.
  • Dorilune
Does anyone else have a copy that has "x/1000" written in pen under the barcode on the back?
  • ladushka
Mine is numbered below barcode but had no download card as stated on the sticker.
  • xander
Walked into a Seattle store yesterday and got 935.
  • Agarus
I got 87/1000 and bought it from the Pro Era site on 1/23.
  • Heraly

  • Raniconne

  • Goltizuru

  • one life
My copy doesn't have anything written underneath the barcode.
  • Nilasida
Yeah I got one. IT looks like it says 784/1000 but its a little hard to read. Was it limited to 1000 copies?
