Say what you want about the shift towards sample-free beats by many new producers, but records like Snoop Dogg's "I Wanna Rock" and Jay-Z's " . Death Of Autotune)" show that the perfect chopped-up loop can still lead to pandemonium in the clubs, radio, or on the Internet. DJ Babu, one third of Dilated Peoples and a key member of the DJ collective Beat Junkies, understands this as well as anyone else. This was the first record from our generation that you can specifically say was made for real hardcore scratch cats. I remember it was some kind of a low-key secret. Up until this point if you wanted a sound to scratch you had to get that specific record. Like if I wanted, "Ah, this stuff is really fresh!" I had to go get Fab 5 Freddy's "Change the Beat".

You Want a Battle? (Here's a War) Lyrics. We will not take this anymore These words will never be ignored You want a battle Here's a war. Down eyes of shame Made to feel dead again Your words cut deep Your lies are fueled by your need for deceit Too scared to speak You're only alive when you torture the weak Now hear me roar

When preparing for battle, you need to consider your group setup, your formation as you enter the battle, and even what equipment you bring with you. For example, during one battle you fight against an ice dragon that constantly freezes the ground. Any character that steps on the frozen ground will slip. To avoid this, you can equip spiked shoes on your characters before the battle, allowing them to retain footing. One person plays as Jodie, controlling her for regular story segments, while the second person plays as Aiden for his poltergeist-like powers. You can either work together to get the outcome you both agree on, or the person playing Aiden can cause as much havoc as they want. It can be really funny to have Aiden mess things up by destroying a room or making another character angry by annoying them.
