Santana is the third studio album by the American rock band Santana. The band's second self-titled album, it is often referred to as III or Santana III to distinguish it from the band's 1969 debut album. The album was also known as Man with an Outstretched Hand, after its album cover image.

Santana 3" (originally only titled "Santana") is the 3rd full-length studio album by US jazz rock/fusion act Santana. The album was released through Columbia Records in September 1971. The original album release features 9 tracks while the 1998 re-issue features 3 bonus tracks recorded live at the Fillmore West on the 4th of July 1971.

This triple-disc collection on the dubious Boxserts label pieces together a boatload of more live material than any Santana fan needs - no matter how devoted. There are some sloppy early performances from the Bay Area, as well as later years' post-band stuff and you've heard most of it in far better shape before.

Santana III was also the last Santana album to hit on the charts until Supernatural in 1999. The original album was re-released in 1998 with live versions of "Batuka", "Jungle Strut" and a previously unreleased song, "Gumbo", recorded at Fillmore West in 1971 which features lead guitar solos by both Santana and Schon.
